Formation & Career Indie (1999-2003)
The band was formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California with original members M.Shadows ,Zacky Vengeance , The Rev and Matt Wendt. M. Shadows gave the name as a reference to the story of Cain and Abel Alkitab ,. The Bible , although not a religious band. After its formation, each band member also raised a pseudonym that has been a call from them from high school. 1999 and 2000 .Their first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, was recorded when the band was eighteen years old and in high school.It was originally released on their first label, Good Life Records in the year 2001 . After guitarist Synyster Gates joined the band, at the end 1999 when she was 18 years old at the introductory track "To End The Rapture" was re-recorded full-band display element. The album was later re-released on Hopeless Records in 2002 .
The band began to receive recognition, appearing with bands such as Mushroomhead and Shadows Fall and play in the Take Action Tour. Once settled in their fourth bassist, Johnny Christ ,they released Waking the Fallen on Hopeless Records in month Agustus 2003 .The band received a profile in Billboard , and The Boston Globe, and play in the Vans Warped Tour.In year 2004 , Avenged Sevenfold tour again at the Vans Warped Tour and recording a video for the song "Unholy Confessions" which went into rotation on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball. Shortly after the release of Waking the Fallen, Avenged Sevenfold leave Hopeless Records and was signed to Warner Bros..
Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (2001-2003)
Sounding the Seventh Trumpet is Avenged Sevenfold's which was released in 2001 at the Good Life Recording and released again by Hopeless Records on March 19, 2002. They involve new guitarist Synyster Gates . Synyster Gates .
Waking the Fallen (2003-2005)
Waking the Fallen is the second album from Avenged Sevenfold after being released on August 26, 2003. This is the first album that involves Johnny Christ as the new bassist.
City of Evil City of Evil (2005-2007)
Year 2005 ,the United States is saturated with music hip-hop and pop and Avenged Sevenfold released their album City of Evil City of Evil precisely on 8 Juni , 2005.Hits single Single hits Bat Country Bat Country . The first rule of MTV TRL. They popularized the back with a solo guitar duet guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance really heats moshpit area.The album was certified gold and won the title Best New Artist in a Video at the MTV VMA 2006 for the song Bat Country.
Avenged Sevenfold (2007-2008)
In 2007, they re-entered the studio to record their latest songs for her fifth studio album to them. August 2007 , they undergo their Asia Pacific tour, and had stopped at Indonesia and they first played in public. Song called Almost Easy Almost Easy gets a warm welcome from fans worldwide.When the punk band Jogjakarta Endang Soekamti was asked to be the opening band. In 2008, they participated as headliners on tour Taste of Chaos Taste of Chaos together with Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu , Blessthefall and Idiot Pilot . When touring, they recorded a DVD that contains six of their new songs.Date 22 Oktober 2008, Avenged Sevenfold gig back in Indonesia is still the same with the event organizer Java Musikindo and this time the American heavy metal band Jibril Gabriel was asked to be the opening band. In this album there are two old song is " Afterlife "and" Almost Easy ". . In the song " Afterlife "added the game more violins, while the song" Almost Easy "is the mixing of different songs. In addition there is also the song "Walk" which is the cover of Pantera Pantera dan "Flash of the Blade and "Flash of the Blade" which is a cover of Iron Maiden .
l On July 16 magazine Kerrang!(1219 edition) released a free CD entitled "Maiden Heaven: A Tribute to Iron Maiden" in honor of one of the band's album heavy metal heavy metal largest in the world that is Iron Maiden. Nightmare (single) (2010)
After a while they released the single "Nightmare" on July 18, 2010 which will enter into their new album. In this single, they call Mike Portnoy Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater Dream Theater to replace the position The Rev The Rev who died on December 28, 2009.
